The present research was conducted with the purpose of investigating the mother's role from view of Islam and psychology and determining the components of mother's role from view of Islam. In this descriptive-analytical research, the findings showed that there are ten components in connection with the mother's role. These ten components were divided into three main categories of acceptance, protection, and education. There were not any components in the category of acceptance. The components of protection were satisfying biological needs, keeping from danger, and preventive cares. The components of education were physical education, paying attention to the kids' games, kindness, respect, paying attention to growth obstacles, and religious orientation. From 12 experts, 9 ones confirmed the content validity of the components of mother's role. The average of experts' scores was 2.25 from 3 and the Kendall's coefficient of concordance was 1 that they confirmed the content validity of the components. It is recommended that next studies perform more accurate statistical analyses and validate the tools.
