The issue of looking at a female passer (female stranger) with an intention of marrying her is among the cases in which the unlawfulness of looking at female passers is excluded. it is necessary to seriously study this issue in order to correctly determine its canonical limits and terms, Due to the importance of the first glancing to female stranger in order to marry her for the purpose of making a family for marrying her and its reason to clarify its ambiguity. There are some questions in this regard. First, what is the limit of a lawful glance? And second, is the glance lawful only if the suitor has done the preliminary investigations and has chosen the girl from all other respects? Or, is he canonically allowed to look at her prior to doing the investigations and before choosing her from other respects? Third, if he has generally an intention of marriage, does he have the permission to look at various women in order to choose the ideal one? And what is the reason of looking to the strangers with the intention of religious marrage? In this study which has done with the analytic-descriptive method it was concluded that the male suitor who has the intention of marriage can, after choosing a women from other respects, look at her face, hands, heir, and even her body covered in dress; and also it was concluded that the general and absolute intention of marriage does not necessarily mean that the man is allowed to look at various women. Besides the reason of looking to stranger with the purpose of religious marrage is to prevent inflicting a loss to the man in paying alimony to her and trying to marry with sufficient awareness of making a family based on love and affection
