This study has been conducted with the aim of investigating the effect of religious coping and spiritual Happiness on mental health. This correlational study has been done by the survey method and the population was all the women working in the Ministry of Education in the city of Robat Karim. 120 women were selected by multistage sampling and then the questionnaires were distributed among them. The Pargament›s (2000) religious coping scale, the Ellison›s (1983) spiritual happiness scale, and the Goldberg›s (1978) mental health questionnaire were the tools of this study. The findings were analyzed by correlation coefficient, regression, and F-test. The predictor variable was religious coping style with positive and negative levels and the criterion variable was spiritual happiness with four levels of somatic complaints, anxiety and insomnia, social dysfunction, and depression. The relationship among positive and negative religious coping, spiritual happiness, and the variables of mental health were analyzed with the help of regression analysis. The results showed that there is a meaningful correlation between negative religious coping style and mental health (PÀ0.01, r=0.38, B=0.780, t=2.32). There is not a meaningful correlation between positive religious coping style and mental health (PÀ0.01, r=-0.033, B=-0.387, t=-1.55). In addition, there is a meaningful correlation between spiritual happiness and mental health (PÀ0.01, r=-0.51, B=-0.187, t=-5.42).
