This research has been conducted with the purpose of studying the role of gender differences in the students› dimensions of religiosity in Yasouj University. The present research has applied the survey method and the questionnaire for data-gathering. The population which includes all of the students studying in Yasouj University during 2014-2015 academic year is 4195 students. Based on the Lin›s (1976) formula, the sample is 400 students who were selected by multistage stratified sampling which is a type of random sampling. The results showed that there is a meaningful difference between the girl and boy students in terms of (general) religiosity. They also showed that there is a meaningful difference between girls and boys in belief, experimental, and ritual dimensions, but there is never a meaningful difference between girls and boys in application dimension. All descriptive and inferential findings of this research indicate two points: first, there is a meaningful difference between girl and boy students of Yasouj University in most dimensions of religiosity; second, the girl students› religiosity is considerably more than the boy student›s religiosity. Analyzing the findings allows us to conclude that, sociologically, the identity attitudes among girl and boy students are different from each other.
