[English]

Objective: The present study aimed to investigate the fit of the marital satisfaction model based on spiritual vitality and the experience of being us with the mediation of anxiety sensitivity and perceived social support among women with hypertension.
Method: This study was conducted using a non-experimental correlational method based on the structural equation modeling. The population included women with high blood pressure who referred to the Heartbeat Clinic and Dey Hospital in Qom in the second half of 2024, 250 of whom were selected for the study by the convenience sampling. The research instruments included Afrouz's Marital Satisfaction Scale, Afrooz's Spiritual vitality Scale, Cruise's "Being Us" Questionnaire in the Couple Relationship, Floyd's Anxiety Sensitivity Questionnaire, and Zimmet's Perceived Social Support Scale. The data were analyzed using the Pearson correlation test and structural equations.
Results: The results of the indirect effects analysis showed that spiritual vitality has a significant indirect effect on marital satisfaction through anxiety sensitivity and perceived social support, and the experience of being us through perceived social support, but the indirect effect of "the experience of being us" on marital satisfaction through anxiety sensitivity was not significant. The model fit indices also indicated a favorable fit of the model.
Conclusions: The findings of this study indicate that spiritual vitality and the experience of being us can play an important role in increasing marital satisfaction among women with hypertension by various mechanisms, especially through reducing anxiety sensitivity and increasing perceived social support.
