This research aims to study and compare the impact of collective instruction of couples through relationship therapy on the intimacy of the couples from Shahid families
This research has been conducted with partially experimental method and with a pre-test design. Hence, the test was done through a control group. The statistics' society includes all the couples of Shahid families of the city of Isfahan with a specimen consisting of 24 couples from three different Shahid Foundations of Isfahan. These specimens have been chosen from those available as well as randomly from the test and control groups.
The groups responded to conjugal intimacy as the pre-test and post-test. The test group received eight sessions of collective relationship therapy instruction. The research findings were analyzed with the SPSS software as well as the statistical method called analysis of covariance and a comparison of the averages.
The results indicated that the collective instruction through the relationship therapy method did not have significant impact on the intimacy of the two couples (P>05/0), but collective training method through relationship therapy method had an impact on the aspects of physical and emotional intimacy (P>05/0).
The findings show that collective instruction method through relationship therapy method had increased physical and emotional intimacy.
